I mean, it wasn't his fault directly or any more than it was the fault of anyone else in the military-political establishment. Even though I hold him in utter contempt as an unreformed Marxist and Peace Now supporter, I was very happy to have a civilian running the Defense Ministry and it's very unfortunate that Defense has reverted back to military control. It wasn’t Peretz’s fault that we lost the war in Lebanon. I mean, it wasn’t his fault directly or any more than it was the fault of anyone else in the military-political establishment.
